Before you arrive
Please be sure to ask your guests to park in the large village hall car park and not on the residential street.
When you arrive
One of our volunteer trustees will meet you at the hall at the beginning of your start time and will go through our Welcome notice with you. You will be asked to sign a copy of the notice. As all our trustees are unpaid volunteers, it is important that you arrive on time at the beginning of your hire period.
When you leave
At the end of your hire period (or before, if you are ready to go), one of our trustees will usually come and have a look around the hall to ensure that it is clean and in its original condition. Occasionally, there may not be a trustee available at that time, in which case you will be asked to make sure the main door to the village hall is closed behind you, and someone will check the hall later in the day.
Deposit refund
Provided that the hall is clean and in its original condition with no damage, and that the hall is vacated at the end of the hire period, your deposit will be returned to you. Our treasurer or booking officer will be in touch to ask for details of your bank account to refund the deposit. This is usually within a few days of the booking.
