Ok, so it didn’t quite go as we had hoped, and the current restrictions are likely to continue until Monday 19 July. This means that our two new groups who had hoped to start w/c 21 June will have to delay their classes for a few more weeks. We are looking forward to hosting a new Mindful Moments class on Monday afternoons, and let’s face it, most of us could do with some calm, peaceful, mindful moments right now! We will also have a new MMA (mixed martial arts) class for children and young adults starting on Saturday mornings, as soon as they can.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO (Virtually) MEET THE VILLAGE HALL TRUSTEES
We are expecting to go ahead with our AGM, but it will look a little different to what we had originally planned – it will probably be done via Zoom, with just a few people in the hall. We will send out the Zoom link to anyone who would like it, nearer the time.
Wednesday 23 June at 7pm
Ever wondered what we do? And why? This is your village hall and we’d also like to know your views and what you think the future should hold. Join us via Zoom for an informal chat. And if you are interested in volunteering this would be a good place to start.
Following the discussion will be the short business of the AGM and presentation of the 2020 audited accounts – which you are very welcome to watch via Zoom.
Danchinos is now open for take aways, indoor and outdoor tables as follows:
Friday 10.00am-5.00pm plus pizza deliveries until 7.00pm
If you would like to book a table, please call:

Please be aware that the times on the calendar are the actual times that the hall is booked, and not necessarily the time of the individual classes.
SOME IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE BEFORE REQUESTING A BOOKING:
The Village Hall is licensed for indoor activities/events only and our full terms and conditions must be adhered to, any breach of these conditions will result in the event being stopped and a loss of any fee/deposit paid.
Evening events are expected to book on Saturdays only.
Events are not to spill outside and there is a no smoking policy inside the village hall and the surrounding area, this includes e-cigarettes.
Windows are to remain closed and fire doors are only to be used in an emergency. There is an air conditioning system fitted.
The cafe area and outside patio area are separate tenanted spaces, are not part of any hire agreement and must not be used in any way.
The maximum capacity of the hall is 120 seated at tables or 210 seated in rows specifically for performances.
Cullingworth Village Hall is a community space and is unable to cater for larger events which may cause a disturbance to our neighbours.
At the end of the event, the hall must be returned to its original condition, with all equipment returned to its designated place.
The hirer and all guests must vacate the premises before midnight.
If you wish to continue with your booking request, and when you have found a suitable date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your plans.
Information about our hire charges can be found here.
If you intend to sell or supply alcohol at your event, please speak with the Management Committee when you request your booking, as you may need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice.
Our full terms and conditions can be found here.
If you are interested in a regular booking for a class/course, please see our Regular Users Terms and Conditions here.
