We have now officially moved to Step 4 of the government’s roadmap, with no sign of the virus actually going away. The Village Hall will continue to display the QR code and ask people using the hall to check in when they arrive.
If you, or anyone in your household is displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, you MUST NOT enter the hall.
Let’s all be sensible and if you are planning an event, why not ask your guests to do a lateral flow test beforehand? They are easy to get hold of, easy to do and you get a quick result, it’s a no-brainer.
Stay safe everyone!
The pupils of Parkside School, along with the Cullingworth Youth Cafe have worked very hard to help design and create a beautiful community garden space at the side of the Village Hall. There is also a wonderful children’s area in Cherry Tree Wood where they can check out the bug hotel and see what’s lurking beneath the lids. There is a Den Store with everything they need to build their own dens, as well as Mudchinos kitchen and picnic tables. Please do come and have a look at this fantastic space.
We ask that children are kept under supervision and that dogs are not allowed the foul the area, please.

If you are interested in making a booking, you are welcome to check the availability on our online calendar by clicking here. Please be aware that at the current time, some of our regular classes have not yet rebooked following lockdown, so the calendar is subject to change at short notice.
Please be aware that the times on the calendar are the actual times that the hall is booked, and not necessarily the time of the individual classes.
We have recently looked at our suitability as a large event venue and decided that due to the location of our hall in the middle of a residential area, we will not be able to host any event which will impact on our neighbours. As such, we expect anyone booking a private, evening event to have a strong connection with Cullingworth village, we also have the following restrictions:
SOME IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE BEFORE REQUESTING A BOOKING:
The Village Hall is licensed for indoor activities/events only and our full terms and conditions must be adhered to, any breach of these conditions will result in the event being stopped and a loss of any fee/deposit paid.
Evening events are expected to book on Saturdays only.
Events are not to spill outside and there is a no smoking policy inside the village hall and the surrounding area, this includes e-cigarettes.
Windows are to remain closed and fire doors are only to be used in an emergency. There is an air conditioning system fitted.
The cafe area and outside patio area are separate tenanted spaces, are not part of any hire agreement and must not be used in any way.
The maximum capacity of the hall is 120 seated at tables or 210 seated in rows specifically for performances.
Cullingworth Village Hall is a community space and is unable to cater for larger events which may cause a disturbance to our neighbours.
At the end of the event, the hall must be returned to its original condition, with all equipment returned to its designated place.
The hirer and all guests must vacate the premises before midnight.
If you wish to continue with your booking request, and when you have found a suitable date, please email email@example.com to discuss your plans.
Information about our hire charges can be found here.
If you intend to sell or supply alcohol at your event, please speak with the Management Committee when you request your booking, as you may need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice.
Our full terms and conditions can be found here.
If you are interested in a regular booking for a class/course, please see our Regular Users Terms and Conditions here.
We look forward to hosting your next event!
